Guide line « Let’s Dance Human Rights »

 

“Let’s dance Human Rights” is an invitation for every amateur or professional dancer that recognize themselves as part of the great human family,in these troubled times that humanity is going through,by dancing the fundamental human rights for the World Dance Day on April 29th 2021. 

It is also a way to share, through dance, our ideal of freedom, equality and fraternity inscribed in this universal declaration of human rights.

Extract of Universal Declaration of Human Rights :

 

Article 1.

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one another in a spirit of brotherhood.

 

Article 3

Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person.

 

Article 4

No one shall be held in slavery or servitude; slavery and the slave trade shall be prohibited in all their forms.

 

Dance Guide : 

 

We suggest , if it is possible, to dance outside , in a public place in your town to show it  to the people. Film the sequence and broadcast it on social networks, media… send it to avignonsectioncid@gmail.com for final editing of all sequences.

 

1 – March of mankind: music All Human Beings Pt.1 :

Simply walk with your gaze to the horizon, in the place delimited by the camera and in different directions, while the preamble of the UDHR is pronounced.

As you walk, feel that you are part of this humanity and that you walk with it. You embody the march of mankind since the dawn of time.

 

2 – Opening and dedication : All Human Beings Pt.2

Stand still in front of the camera, hands on your heart in the gesture you feel. Listening the extract from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, let your hands from your heart moving forward  you, very slowly ; then open the arms in a gesture of offering. Do this gesture by dedicating this declaration to all human beings on earth.

 

3 – Let’s dance human rights : (articles 1/3/4) : All Human Beings Pt.3

 Slowly allow movement flow from within through the connection with your heart.

Let the spirit of freedom, equality and brotherhood dance through you. Let the emotions, the feelings shine through your dance. You are a human being with a heart that vibrates, a soul, and a body that expresses this humanity.

 

4 – Dance the advent of a World of peace : All Human Beings Pt.4

 Now let your body turn on itself (2 turns/ 3 maximum). As you turn, your arms embrace humanity in its diversity and unity and spread your love for this humanity. Dance the advent of a world of peace.

When the instrumental part and the choir stops and it starts the declaration: come back still, simply in front of the camera (close-up) and look at humanity through the camera.
